Through time and space our music has survived. It comes to us from our ancestor's roots and has been passed down from the parents of our parents and from our parents to us. And it is that way we will continue to pass our music to new generations.
Therefore, we call ourselves SAMY, meaning "strength".
We wish to present and to reinforce the wealth and diversity of the musical rhythms of the Andean region; Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.
By these means we send a message of unity and friendship to all towns, nations and to the entire world.
