A deposit or prepayment for your reservation guarantees your reservation, whether you

reconfirm or not! 50% deposit is required during high season (June, July, August, December, January). A $50. minimum deposit is required during low season.

If you wish to use your credit card there will be a 5% charge.

If you wish not to use your credit card you may

pay with dollars or travelers checks.

There is a 20% cancellation charge if

reservations are cancelled within 60 days.

There is no refund if

reservations are cancelled

15 days before arrival.

A NOTE ABOUT CREDIT CARDS IN OTAVALO

Travelers advise that credit cards are difficult to use in Ecuador outside of the big cities. In Otavalo there is one bank with an ATM that works with VISA and MC CIRRUS and Plus and there are two banks with ATMs that work consistently with VISA and MC CIRRUS, but not with Plus! The new Banco Austro works with VISA and MC Plus and Cirrus!
